A FEDERATION FOR ALL BELGIAN WUSHU CLUBS

The Belgian Wushu Federation (BWUF) regroups the two regional federations, the Fédération Francophone de Wushu (FFWU) and the Vlaamse Wushu Federatie (VWUF). Belgium has no national Sports Authority as sport is managed directly by the regions. As there is a clear need for a national representation for wushu clubs and athletes the BWUF is an absolute necessity. Apart from the FFWU and VWUF that are represented by their respective presidents mentioned, other members are 7 individual persons delegated by each of the two federations to make up a total of 16 members, 8 from the Flemish community and 8 from the French speaking community.
