Last week the government decided on the next steps in the phased approach to get back to normal now that the corona crisis seems to come to an end. The institutions responsible for sport in Belgium (ADEPS, Sport.Vlaanderen, VSF, AISF,...) have put together extensive instructions and checklists to help us to start training again while respecting the rules.
The good news is that from 8 June indoor training is permitted again, but they are subject to very strict regulations. But the preference is still for outdoor training. The maximum for a group is still only 20 people and these still have to be the same people. If all goes well and the number of COVID 19 cases continues to go down, this maximum will be raised to 50 from 1July onward. So there is more good news down te line.
Contact is not allowed as yet, except for children under 13 years old. So most of us will still need to stick to training routines that don't rely on contact between our members and don't forget the 1,5 meter rule and the importance of hygiene.
