The annual Belgian Wushu Championship for Modern Wushu, Traditional Wushu, Taijiquan and Sanda. This is a one day event that is organised by the regional federations VWUF and FFWU in an alternating fashion. The Belgian Championship for 2020 has been postponed until the fall and will be organised by a club from the FFWU.
The BWUF also tries to send a delegation the most important international wushu championships, time and money permitting. As many championships in Europe organised by the individual countries are of the open type, some Belgian clubs send teams to these events.
In addition to the official annual Belgian Championship, some clubs organise other non-official events such as the Open Flanders Wushu Championship, the Brussels Traditional Taolu Cup, the Golden Dragon Cup, etc.
